In today’s constantly evolving financial services landscape, network branded prepaid cards are increasingly attractive and important payment tools for millions of Americans. As products issued by financial institutions, reloadable prepaid cards are strictly regulated, similar to bank accounts, and provide many of the same features and very often with greater convenience and lower cost than traditional 'basic' checking accounts.
The NBPCA works closely with industry, government, and consumer groups to promote consumer education, and growth of the industry.
